GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from appearing for GAT (PGP) 2020. However, they need to apply for admission and have to attend counselling as per the schedule.

The eligibility criteria of IIM-A for PGP programme is a Bachelor degree with minimum 50% of marks for general and 45% for reserved categories from a recognised University. Selection process : The selection of the candidates for admission in PGP programme at IIMA is a two-step process. The candidates are short-listed for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI) from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score. The CAT sectional cutoff is 70 for each section, while the overall cutoff is 80 percentile for general candidate. PGP or PGDM is a Post Graudate programme/Post Graduate Diploma in Management offered by Institutions approved by AICTE but not affiliated to any university, like Iims. Now Iims are converted into Institute of National Importance and can Award MBA degree. MBA is degree awarded by a University approved by UGC. Only Universities can offer Degree Programs and now Institute of National Importance (INI ) also. PGDM is not equal to MBA but PGDM from Good institution like Iims are equally good in studies and jo.
