The eligibility criteria for admission in MBA programme at IIM Sirmaur are as follows:
- Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree irrespective of the discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories).
- Candidates should have a valid score in CAT exam based on which they will be shortlisted for the personal interview (PI) round.
- Candidates must qualify the personal interview (PI) round followed by document verification and fee payment for final seat allotment in MBA programme.

To be eligible for IIM Ahmedabad MBA admissions, a candidate needs to pass a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a UGC-recognised university after at least 12 years of school education with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). Candidates are shortlisted for the WAT and PI round on the basis of their performance in the CAT, scholastic achievement and relevant work experience. CAT is the computer-based test conducted for providing admission to PGP courses. For shortlisting, both sectional and overall CAT cutoffs are considered. The weightage aligned to different components for final selection is as follows:

Students of the two-year PGP in Management have the opportunity to get double degrees by being a part of the Double Degree (DD) programme of IIM Bangalore. During this DD exchange, the selected students study at their home institution in the first academic year and are transferred to the host institution for the second academic year. The institute has collaborated with ESCP Europe Business School (Paris, France), Bocconi University (Milano, Italy) and Hitotsubashi University Business School, School of International Corporate Strategy (Hitotsubashi University, Japan) for the same.
