However as you have not done M.Tech, you would not be eligible for Ph.D. in technical subject. Procedure is very simple. First you have to decide from which university you wish to do Ph.D. Then you will have to appear for screening test of the university. Then you have to search guide who will accept you as research scholar. Then in consultation with him decide on the topic. Get it registered with university. Start your research. Yes, you can apply for Ph.D by clearing the CUSAT that exam. The exam will be conducted in the month of April.

1. Qualified post-graduation degree or M.Phil. Degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks and above from a recognised university listed under UGC/AIU are eligible for admission to the programme.
