In order to become a licensed pharmacist in Canada, you need:
A Bachelor's or doctor of pharmacy degree from one of 10 Canadian universities
To complete a national board examination through the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC)
Practical experience through an apprenticeship/internship programme
Fluency in English or French
The profession of pharmacy is regulated on a provincial and territorial level. The regulatory authorities are directly responsible for granting pharmacist licenses, assessing the competency of pharmacists and ensuring public safety. After completing your Masters with minimum 55%, you need to qualify a test such as GATE/CSIR-NET/ JEST and TIFR /NEST /SLET etc. If you qualify written, then you'll be called for interview. In some university, you'll be required to undergo their separate written test and interview. Ph.D. is offered in two modes: Part Time and Full Time
Part Time: A candidate has to attend classes on weekends. Full Time: A candidate has to attend regular classes (56 days a week). Both Full Time & Part time Ph.D. programs are available in LPU. It will not very difficult to get admission in Ph.D. programme in LPU if you prepared well. Admission steps involved 55% in Post-Graduation + LPU NEST Exam + Interview. You will get proper guidance with sample questions, question paper pattern, Syllabus etc. Before taking up Exam & Interview. LPU offers flexible course work in three different options :
Option I Duration - One semester - every Saturdays & Sundays
Option II Duration - 4 days every month
Option III Duration - 15 days

After presenting a State-Of-the-Art (SOTA) seminar, there is fair chance to the students to pursue teaching assistantship in LPU only. Though the selection is completely depends upon selection committee & requirement. Scholarship Opportunity:
