No, it is not necessary to have previous experience in medicine to study Pharmacology. In Pharmacology, we have studied how a drug affects in the biological system and how the body responds to the drug. Pharmacology encompasses the sources, biological effects, chemical properties, and therapeutic uses of drugs. These effects can be toxic or therapeutic, depending on many factors like how your body reacts to drugs, the environment, etc. Pharmacology has two main branches: Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics. As you have not mentioned the category you belong to, here is the cut off information for M.Pharm in pharmacology at Central University of Punjab. For general category it is 48 , for OBC 54, for SC and ST, it is 47.

A candidate who has passed b pharm from any AICTE approved institution affiliated with University and obtained min 55% for general category and 59% SC/ST category and should have a valid qualified GATE score or GPAT score non- zero score in M.Pharm ASSO - CET.If a candidate has neither appeared for GATE nor having valid and qualified GATE score SC-ST candidate caste validity other eligibility criteria, certificate will be required at the time for sponsored candidate.

No, you can not. For that first you have to complete your degree in Pharmacy. (B.Pharma)
B.Pharma is a totally different course which offers everything related to the field of pharmacy. Pharmaceutical worker, teacher, stationary pharmacist, researcher etc. The course is for 4 years/8 semesters. You can complete your degree and move forward for Masters in any respected subject, as in your case Pharmacology or pharmaceutical Chemistry.

Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D. in Pharmacology
Duration of the course shall be the time period from registration to submission of thesis. The minimum period of registration in respect of all the candidates who are registered for Ph.D. shall be three years. The maximum period of registration shall not exceed five years.
