The LPUPET doesn't have any written test hence there is no prescribed syllabus for the same so candidates don't require any specific preparation tips. There is only the physical activity that candidates need to complete in order to be eligibile for the physical education courses. To prepare for LPUPET candidates need to be physically fit and active as they will have to complete all the physical efficiency tests at the university premises within the given time frame.

The LPUPET results will be displayed on the university website - lpu.in. The LPUPET results will be prepared on the basis of candidate's performance in Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates qualifying in the LPUPET as per the results will be then alloted the physical education courses, according to the merit list, performance and candidates interest while filling the LPUPET application form 2024.

Once the LPUPET results are declared candidates will be alloted the physical education courses as per their interests and performance in the test. Candidates will be given a short time frame to submit the token amount to reserve their seat for the specific course they are interested in. If candidates fail to submit the fee during the given time frame, their candidature will be rejected and the seat will be allotted to another student as per the merit list.

While preparing for the LPUPET candidates must ensure that they are physicall fit and have excellent ground activity like jogging, jumping, sprinting etc. Few atleast 3 days before the LPUPET, candidates must practice fast walking and running so that on the day of the test they don't face the heat and don't get fainted.

There is no written syllabus of LPUPET, it is a physical efficiency test where candidates physical ability will be tested. The Physical Efficiency Test will include the following -
- 50 meters sprint.
- Standing Broad Jump.
- Over heard back throw (Medicine ball men 3 kg, Women 5 kg.)
- 1000 meters run/walk.

Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria can apply for LPUPET. As per the eligibility criteria of LPUPET, candidates must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent and have secured a minimum of 45% marks. For MPEd or MSc in Sports candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Physical education. Students with SC/BC Category will get a relaxation of 5%. To apply for LPUPET candidates will have to visit the official website as and when the registration begins and apply in online mode by filling their details and paying the prescribed application fees.

The cost of LPUPET Application Fee is INR 800 (for Boys) and INR 500 (for Girls). Application fee once paid during the registration will not be refunded. Candidates can pay the LPUPET application fee either in online or offline mode. In online mode the application fee can be paid through UPI/Debit/Credit Card, in offline mode it can be paid through Demand Draft payable at the university.
