Yes, you will have to study there first, to become a registered physiotherapist. You can get credits transferred from your current Indian degree. Here is a list of colleges offering physiotherapy courses:

If you are planning to practice abroad obtain a Master degree first, you must then clear the physiotherapy licensing process for the same.
