The Situation Test/ Personal Interview (PI) is the 2nd stage of the NIFT entrance exam. Candidates were shortlisted for the Situation Test/ PI based on the NIFT written exam scores.
- If the candidate fails to qualify for the 2nd stage, he or she is not considered for admission to various design courses offered by the NIFTs.
- The only exception is B.F.Tech program, where the merit list for admission will be prepared solely on the basis of GAT scores.

No, the Guru Nanak Khalsa College BSc admissions are completely based on merit. There will be no GD rounds or PI rounds for selections. Students will be called campus if their name appears on the merit list.

Yes, students securing more than 80% aggregate in Class 12 will be selected on the basis of their application form and do not need to appear for PI. However, it is not applicable for Architecture/ Design / Education / Fashion / Fine Arts / Law and Physical Education programmes.
