To be eligible for a B.Tech programme at Plaksha University Mohali, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in or have successfully completed Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification. Mathematics is mandatory up to Grade 12
- Have studied Physics until Grade 12 to apply for BTech in Computer Science & AI, Robotics and Cyber-Physical Systems, and Biological Systems Engineering
- Submit at least one of the following scores to be eligible for a firm offer of admission: SAT, ACT, JEE Mains, Grade 12, or equivalent board scores

No, any student with a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Science are eligible to apply for TLF. Additionally, students must meet the below requirements:
- Strong grasp of mathematical concepts, specifically in the areas of Probability, Statistics and Linear Algebra
- must have good problem-solving and analytical abilities
Those who are certain that they can meet these technical prerequisites, without the aforementioned degrees can apply for the course.
