International Relations (IR) is the study of the interconnectedness of politics, economics, and law on a global level, which deals with various streams and disciplines. The study of IR presents a globally oriented perspective on various issues of human development and civilization. IR as a subject is interdisciplinary as it covers fields such as political Science, history, and economics to examine topics such as human rights, global poverty, the environment, global ethics, and the political environment. Each country has international relations officers and a department as that communicate on behalf of the nation to maintain peace and security and focus on Human Rights and environmental protection. It is a 3-year programme. The candidate must have passed Class 12 in the Humanities stream with Political Science as one of the subjects from a recognised board with a minimum of 45percent aggregate. The National Eligibility Test (NET) is an exam organized for positions of assistant professors and research fellows at India's reputed universities. The UGC NET exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency NTA in two sessions: December and June, respectively. Candidates must have at least 55% in their Master's degree or equivalent examination to be considered academically eligible. If you are doing a master's in international relations, you can appear for the INTERNATIONAL AND AREA STUDIES subject. To appear in Political Science, you must have completed or be enrolled in a postgraduate degree in political Science from UGC-accredited universities or institutions.

Established in 1947, Samastipur College is affiliated with Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU). For admission to this college, you need to register on the LNMU University website. Then, after registering, you need to choose a college from the list of all colleges.
After registration, the university releases a merit list within one month of the registration process, according to which you get allotted a college according to your preference and class 12th score.
Similarly, for the postgraduate program Master of Arts (MA) in Political Science, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores in the bachelor's degree.
