Geography was the most preferred subject among the optional subjects chosen by the candidates, followed by Political Science & International Relations and Sociology. Sociology can help in the ethics paper as well with its focus on human nature, behaviour and society. This subject also helps to a great extent in writing on social issues topics in the GS and essay papers. Political Science and sociology has most importance in their own fields but taking sociology is better for both UPSC and PG. Because as per previous years trends the sociology students are qualified in UPSC exam than the political Science. But better go for your interes

As a Science student, you may not have taken courses that are directly related to the courses in a B.A. Programme, but you can still calculate your overall grade percentage using the grades and credit hours for the courses you have taken. To calculate your grade percentage for a particular course, you can use the following formula:
Grade percentage = (Grade earned / Total possible grade) x 100%
For example, if you earned a grade of B in a 3-credit course with a total possible grade of 100%, your grade percentage would be:
Grade percentage = (80 / 100) x 100% = 80%
Once you have calculated the grade percentage for each course, you can calcu

For M. G. Science College, placement is decent. Average package is around 2.5 - 3 LPA and the highest package of B.Sc. Is around 5-5.5 LPA. For Gujarat Science College average Package is around 1.5 -2 LPA and the highest package is around 4.5 LPA. Both the colleges have good infrastructures and faculty. In my opinion, you can go for any one according to your convenience.

The cutoff information for B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science at St. Xavier's Kolkata varies each year, depending on several factors such as the number of applicants, the number of available seats, the previous year's cutoff, and the academic performance of the candidates.
As of now, the cutoff information for the 2022-2023 academic year is not available as the admissions process has not started yet. The cutoff information is usually released by the college after the completion of the application process and the admission procedure.

Both of the colleges, ARSD and Gargi, are good colleges on south campus for Chemistry honors. In case you are a girl, Gargi college will be good for Chemistry honors. They provide an opportunity for an internship in National Chemistry Laboratory (NPL) Delhi. In spite, ARSD holds rank as per NIRF Ranking. If you will check NIRF 2020 Ranking, Gargi is ranked at no. 16 and ARSD at 13. But Gargi is considered better for girls and Chemistry Honors. To Prioritize, I will suggest - Gargi, ARSD, Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Daulat Ram Colleges. I hope this information is sufficient for you to make a difference.
