To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at Prasad Institute of Technology, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/ UPTAC counseling, and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.

For students who want to pursue engineering without achieving exceptionally high scores, Prasad Institute of Technology is a good option because its JEE Main cutoff isn't very competitive. Computer Science had a closing rank of about 11–12 Lacs in 2024, while mechanical and electrical engineering had a closing rank of about 9–11 lakh.
