Presidency University, Kolkata Admission Process

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in BSc (honours) programmes offered at Presidency University, Kolkata. To know the eligibility for PUBDET exam, students can check the points mentioned below:

• Candidates should have cleared higher secondary examination (Class 12) that is conducted by CBSE, West Bengal or equivalent exam, not before 2020.
• The candidate must pass Class 12 with at least five recognised subjects, including English language and excluding Environmental Science. The aggregate is to be calculated in the best four recognised subjects.

Students can check step-wise application process from the points mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the University, i.e., Presidency University

Step 2: Register with details, such as name, father’s name, mother’s maiden name, date of birth, etc. and set a password for the application form.

Step 3: Log in with the set email ID and password.

Step 4: The application form will appear on the screen, fill in all the educational details and choice of courses in the form.

Step 5: Once applied, an acknowledgement page is generated and the application process is completed.

Step 6: Take a printout of the acknowledgement page and other pages of the application for future reference.

Note: The candidate has to pay INR 500 while applying for PUBDET and PUMDET.
