It is a good college for physics Hons with great faculty members and good infrastructure.

Placements: Physics is not a technical course, so there is no such placement in this course. However, it is the best course to go for higher studies. Students can get a chance to do their PhD from abroad.

Infrastructure: College buildings are very good, well-lighted and airy. Lab facilities are decent. Students can have access to the central library. The condition of the hostel is also good, and the food is well-served.

Review of Presidency University, Kolkata.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placements. HSBC, BRIDGEi2i, TCS, HDFC Bank and many others came for recruiting, and they offered roles like financial managers and many other posts. The highest score in our batch is 9.5, which is very good. Almost all the students got placements after the last semester.

Infrastructure: All the necessary infrastructure is available here. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and the library are very good. You can get any book from the library, and they have a huge stock. Our college has a footb...

What you must know about Presidency University, Kolkata before stepping in.

Placements: I joined Presidency University in 2018 in the department of Bengali for graduation. The placement cell of the university has been inactive for quite a long time now. I have not seen any company to come to our campus for placement. So the condition of the placement is very poor. So is the condition of getting internship from the course I am pursuing. Students can try themselves to get a part-time or full-time job. But it is very rare to see companies to come and recruit employees from our campus.

Infrastructure: Presidency University provides a very traditional and standard department for B.A. In Bengali. Other departments are also doing very well. Approximately 35 students can participate in a classroom in more or less every department. No commerce courses are available here. Departments are big enough, so are the classrooms. Some of those are even air-conditioned. Every department has their own library and computer classrooms to provide the best facilities to the students. Every student has their own ...

Presidency has a historical legacy and is excellent now.

Placements: I am currently studying an undergraduate course in science (biology). The current scenario is that graduates from any discipline of science are not very employable. They get jobs after completing a minimum of a master's degree. Our college offers a master's programme. If you study a master's under the bachelor's programme, then there are fairly good chances to get admission to a master's programme because a fair number of admissions are reserved for the home quota in our college. A master's degr...

Go and reach in your dreams.

Placements: Apprpx 80 to 90% students are placed in my course. In the first year of M.Sc. various course is offered by the institute and in the 2nd year, students get an opportunity to research on a short term project on their interests. Students get a good expose from here.

Infrastructure: Wi-fi connectivity, well classroom infrastructure, library, Labs and Experimental set up all facilities arw given by the institute and a weekly seminar is another advantage in this institute which enlightens our knowledge about various topics and grow interests in student's mind. Hostel facilities are also good in this institute. Fooding and staying is good. There are a lot of students come from long distances to study here. All are welcomed by the institute and they give a good hostel facility....
