It is a profile based selection. Apart from your entrance score, your academics, work experience, GD-PI have weightage. So just one factor can't be decisive enough.

Depends on the company, your credentials and other market factors prevailing at the time you graduate.

DY Patil and Bharati Vidyapeeth both are good as they are good deemed universities and are never involved in any of the territorial jurisdiction violation. SMU is a scam and have involved in lot of controversies. Welingkar is a bigger scam as they are offering diploma not MBA which do not have any value.

Yes, there should not be an issue. In the past, the percentile had been to 88 so there should not be an issue to get admission in Welingkar.

You may get a call if your past academics, extra curriculars complement your score.

If your profile is complementing your entrance score then you stand a chance to get a call. By this I mean past academics, work experience (if any), extra curriculars(if any).

See there are number of courses offered apart from core PGDM as well like PGDM- retail, business analytics, media and entertainment, e-business, healthcare, rural, business design. If you apply for all then you do stand a chance to make it to Welingkar through one of the courses.

Yes, you have to justify the gap though. As in whether it was for pursuing employment or whatever the reason maybe.
