DOTE Tamil Nadu has released TNEA Round 4 Provisional Allotment results on TNEA's official website on Nov 3. Candidates who confirmed their tentative allotment with "I accept and confirm the current allotment" option, were able to log in and download the provisional allotment order and report to the respective college by Nov 10. However, the college will conduct one more round for admission to BTech course is via TNEA Counselling.

After filling out the application form, students who qualify for the course-specific entrance exams have to go through other selection rounds followed by course-wise counselling.
- Under TNEA, students don't have to go through any exam but the merit list is prepared using the Class 12 scores of the students
- DTE conducts a centralised counselling process for TN MBA/MCA admission, while counselling for other courses is conducted separately.
A merit list is then released by the conducting bodies for announcing the names of the candidates shortlisted for the courses. Candidates need to pay the admission fee to confirm their admission.
