Candidate must have completed BCA or B.Sc. (Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent), or a pass in a recognized Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration (in disciplines other than the ones mentioned above) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level and obtained at least 50% marks (45% for Tamilnadu BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA, ST category). The qualifying degree examination can be 10+2+3/4/5 years pattern or 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern or 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma + AMIE. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. degrees obtained through Distance/Weekend mode are not eligible. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th/12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year are also eligible.

Even though one can not make it to NIT, IIIT, or GFTI with a 60-70 percentile in JEE Main there are a lot of popular colleges that accept this percentile range of admission in B.Tech. Different college options are available for candidates who will clear the JEE Main 2022 Exam with a percentile range of 60 to 70. For the 60-70 percentile, the JoSAA rank may exceed 2.5 Lacs. Therefore, candidates securing this percentile range in JEE Mains will have to start looking for alternative options in advance. In some states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar, the B.Tech admission process is based on JEE Mains score, and chances of getting admission are high for a percentile range of 60 to 70. Both are good. But according to branch, you can opt your choice. If u want to take CSE or IT or ICT then I can say SASTRA is best, because of the high placement opportunity. Nearly 80 companies will come every year. You will have a very good opportunity of getting a job with a high package. Companies like Microsoft, Paypal, TCS and many more will be available every year. SASTRA will provide hostel scholarship and merit scholarships of nearly 34k every year. The advantage SASTRA has is, being a deemed university, it can rapidly adapt to changing technologies. Syllabus is revised regularly (annually), with the feedback from the students and alumni (I have given feedback both as a final year student as well as an alumnus, and most (90%) of the changes suggested were implemented).
