The TNEA exam results are used to determine a student's admission to the PSGCT Coimbatore program. Prior to submitting an application, students must meet the college's prerequisites. The PSGCT Coimbatore cut-off mark must be met by the students in addition to their qualifying exam results. The M.E/M. The tech admission process is based on the results of the GATE or TANCET exam and is preceded by TANCA counselling.

Entrance and counselling are the only factors used to determine admission to B.Tech, MBA, and M.Tech programs. Admission to the institute is determined by the entrance exams. To be admitted in B.Tech programme in the institute student must qualify the TNEA, for M.Tech GATE and TANCET. Likewise for MBA the accepted entrance exam is CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ TANCET, etc. and for MCA it is TANCET. Candidates must appear for the entrance exam of the required courses, in order to be admitted at PSG College of Technology.

The minimum percentage required for admission to the M.Sc integrated data science course at PSG College of Technology (PSGCT) is 50% in 12th grade from a recognized board. If you have passed 12th grade with 70%, you are guaranteed admission.

B.Tech students at PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research were assigned to outstanding roles. The companies offered a range of salary packages, with the highest at INR 15 Lacs per year, the average at INR 7 lakhs, and the lowest at INR 6 lakhs.
