Candidates are not required to visit the allotted institute in person. The reporting will be done online only. For this, the Candidate will be required to upload the following scanned documents (Coloured copy) on the counselling portal from their login account, after the provisional allotment of seat:
- Sikh Religion Exam Score Card (If Qualified)
- DMCs of 10+2 / Diploma
- 10th DMC
- Residential Certificate (Domicile or another valid Address Proof)
- Reserved Category Certificate (as Applicable)
- Passport Size Photograph
- Migration Certificate of Qualifying Exam (if selected as Yes at the time of registration)
- Income Certificate (as Applicable)

PTU BTech counselling merit lits is based on the inter-se-merit of 10+2 examination result. Based on the details filled in the application form, the merit list will be prepared and rank will be assigned accordingly. Based on the assigned rank and preferred choices the counselling result will be prepared and accordingly provisional seat allotment letter will be issued.

The details needed to register for PTU B.Tech counselling 2025 are personal details, reservation and other details and qualifying exam details. The Link to participate in Centralized Online Counselling is available at the IKGPTU website. Candidates must ensure their eligibility as per the Government Notifications/ Information Brochure before they apply for the PTU BTech admission counselling.

Yes. For the Punjab state candidates, 85% Quota is reserved and 15% quota is reserved for the other states.

No. Such candidates, who have compartment in qualifying examination, will not be eligible for participate in Centralized Online Counselling. If any candidate participate in PTU BTech Centralized Online Counselling with wrong credentials then his/her admission will not be considered at the time of reporting in the allotted Institute.

There is no limit of filling choices. It is advised to fill maximum choices and to arrange them in the order of preference in the PTU BTech counselling form.

Yes, you can edit, delete and re-arrange choices, as many times as you want, before the locking of choices or before the last date/time of choice filling prescribed in PTU BTech 2025 counselling schedule.

Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme is applicable for the Economical Weaker Candidates belonging to Punjab State, whose annual family income is less than 8 Lakhs. This scheme is offered as per guidelines issued by the Regulatory Body/State Govt. from time to time. For details please check notifications related to TFW Scheme. The same are available on IKGPTU Website.

At the time of admission via the PTU BTech 2025 counselling process the students require to produce the following documents in original in the admitting Institute:-
- 10th DMC
- 12th DMC (for Admission in Under Graduate Courses)
- Diploma DMCs (for Admission in Lateral Entry Courses)
- DMCs / Degree of Graduation (for Admission in Post Graduate Courses)
- Residential Certificate (Domicile or another valid Address Proof)
- Reserved Category Certificate (as Applicable)
- Passport Size Photograph
- Migration Certificate of Qualifying Exam
- Aadhaar Card (Mandatory for Beneficiary Students)
- Income Certificate (If admitted under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme or Post

To participate in Centralized Online PTU BTech Counselling the candidate has to pay one time Online fee of INR 2,000/- (Two thousand Only) (Non Refundable) for each selected course.
