Hello Kaushal,
DGCA approval or DGCA license is obtained after appearing for the concerned examination of the DGCA. The eligibility for appearing in this DGCA exam is graduation in AME. If you say you have failed in AME, then obviously you are not eligible to even appear for license exam of DGCA. So, obtaining license is further away. First, you will have to pass your AME and then appear for DGCA licensing examination to get a license. Best wishes to you.

There is no criteria for the physical eligibility in aircraft maintenance engineering. Even I'm interested in that and I'm pursuing aeronautical engineering from NMIT, Bangalore.

Hi,
Avionics is concerned with flying Aeroplanes, aviation deals with the design, development, production, operation and maintenance of heavier-than-air aircrafts.
AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) is a technical training course (3 years long) that will help you acquire an aircraft maintenance engineer license (issued by the DGCA).
Regards
