DY Patil University offers a wide range of UG, PG and doctoral programmes to the students across Engineering, Management and Science, among others. DY Patil University admission to all the courses is entrance based or is subject to a valid score in the past qualifying exam followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round.

Admission at IIHM Pune is done on the basis of e-CHAT, followed by an interview over a video call. E-CHAT is an institute-level entrance exam which is common for admission to all IIHMs.

COEP and VIT are both top colleges in Maharashtra, but COEP is the winner. COEP ranks 24th in MHRD rankings, outperforming VIT in terms of recruiters. COEP has a higher placement rate for CSE and an average salary of 7-8 LPA for the CSE department. It is also better in academics and extracurricular activities. However, COEP is not well-known across India, unlike VIT. Therefore, it is advisable to choose COEP over VIT.
