The eligibility criteria for admission to any one of the programs in Engineering is a minimum aggregate of 60% or secures 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in class XII. The admission shall be made on the All-India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main-2024. The cutoff rank for different branches may vary depending on the availability of seats and the number of applicants.
If you have scored 70% in JEE Main, your expected percentile score would be between 90 and 923. This means your expected rank would be between 90,000 and 1,10,000. Based on the previous year’s data, this rank may not be sufficient to secure a seat in Chitkara College o

Being a government-affiliated institute, CTIT Jalandhar has lower fees, compared to other institutes. The tuition fees for B.Tech programme range from INR 25,000 to INR 50,000 per semester. The institute has not released the fee break-up on its official website. It has a decent placement record also, with major recruiters such as Infosys, Wipro, and TCS visiting the campus. The average placement package is around 3-4 Lacs per annum.

Hi nishar,
As per the Shiksha verified reviews of CTIT Jalandhar, the highest salary package offered for BTech ranges between INR 4 LPA - INR 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, HCL, etc. Around 5% of students get internships in this college. The placement cell of the institute is just okayish and not very active. Also, some non-technical companies visit the CTIT Jalandhar's campus to offer internships.
