Yes, Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran was established in 2001 with the strength of 100 students but now it houses more than 15000 students and offering 25 technical programs and professional courses through 8 colleges. CGC delivered over 118 batches and had 17,700 plus students. Getting a large number of placements every year is the plus point of my college. See, if you want take admission for B.Tech in any of the above colleges then you should select Chitkara University, Himachal campus. The environment you get here is very good. Away from the polluted city, it is situated near the mountains. You get fresh air which is an important thing. Talking about placements, the placements are good. Companies visit both campuses. You get equal opportunities to apply for the interview. In Himachal campus, the faculty is very good. The Punjab campus is very crowded as compared to Himachal campus. For the detailed review of Chitkara University, Himachal campus, you can visit this link:

From BMSCE Bangalore, SVUCE Tirupati, and GNDU Amritsar for B.Tech in CSE department, I'll prefer you to opt for the BMSCE Bangalore as this is the best college all in terms of placements, infra and faculty.
