Hostel fees for Engineering Hostels (I. e. Band Singh Bahadur, Mai Bhago Hostel & Bebe Nanki) is INR 920 per month whereas for other Hostels it is INR 420 per month. There are six residential Hostels for boys and seven residential Hostels for girls. The Hostels have all modern amenities for comfortable living for 4000 students. The hostels are given on a merit basis only. The students of low-income groups can be given free accommodation in the University Hostels. Residents of a hostel, where a cooperative mess is being run shall have to pay INR 5000 in advance as a mess bill. This amount is refundable/adjustable as and when the student leaves the hostel or the mess is closed permanently.

BA. LL.B. (Hons) - 60Seats - 5Years Programme
LLB (Bachelor of Law) - 60Seats - 3 Years Programme
Eligibility:- A person who has passed one of the following examinations shall be eligible to join LL.B. Course : (a) Bachelor's Degree in any faculty of Panjab University with at least 45% marks in the aggregate; (40% for SC/ST candidates). (b) Degree in any Faculty of another University recognised by the Panjab University and the BarCouncil of India securing at least 45% marks in the aggregate. Provided that in case of a candidate having a Bachelor's degree of this University or any CA Master's Degree from the Panjab University. (d) A Master's Degree from any other University recognised by the Panjab University and the Bar Council of India as equivalent to the corresponding Post-graduate degree of the Panjab University. Admission to LL.B. Course shall be on the basis of an Entrance Test. Total marks for determining merit would be 200.50% of 200 (100 marks for the entrance test)50% of 200 ( 100 marks for the qualifying exam. ). .

Write a application to department head requesting provisional degree along with self attested photocopies of DMC of all semesters.Application does not required to be typed. You can give handwritten application provisional degree is normally issued within one day provided that staff is present on duty. There in university people are very helping, tell anyone that you are facing language problem, 110% that person will help you In that, office above SBI, pay the man on counter, the required fee and tell him that it is for provisional degree and show him the form. He will either note down the receipt no. one your form or give you receipt that you have to fill in the provisional degree form go to ADMINISTRATIVE BLOCK Handover your form to them, they will ask you to wait for one hour or so.
