The Early Confirmation Award is a scholarship offered by Queen's University Belfast to new international students who are accepted to a full-time programme with the following terms & conditions -

The acceptance rate of QUB is around 31%. This acceptance rate has been sourced from the unofficial sources and is subject to vary. Looking at the acceptance rate, it can be considered that this university is a fairly competitive university to get into. Hence, students with a exceptional academic records and who meet the entry requirements have a higher chance of getting admission. The general academic requirements of QUB that students have to meet are having passed Class 12 with minimum percentage overall and subject-wise for getting into UG courses. For admission to PG courses, the applicants require a bachelor's degree.

The UG applicants at Queen’s University of Belfast can submit the application via UCAS. Whereas, the PG applicants can use the direct online application system. A few of the documents that are required to apply are academic transcripts, English language proficiency score, any other application material, standardized test scores, etc.

As per some unofficial sources, the Queen's University acceptance rate is around 89%, which means out of every 100 applicants, around 89 are selected, which means it is fairly easy to get selected into the Queen's University. 

The University however, prefers students with good academic background, hence having good academic background increases your chances of getting selected into the Queen's University.

Queen's college of Food Technology and Research Foundation has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.E. / B.TechCandidate who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology & obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for Backward class, EWS & PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply.
M.E./M.TechCandidates completed B.Tech. (Food Tech./Food Technology)/ B.Tech. (Food Science) or equivalent degree of 4 years duration from any recognised agriculture related University are eligible to apply.
Candidates graduated from Other State must have degree from ICAR accredited Agriculture University.
