RV Institute of Technology and Management Bangalore offers seats to candidates based on their entrance exam scores. Candidates can get admission under Government Quota or Management Quota. The institute selects candidates for BE programme based on their KCET or COMEDK score. For MCA, aspirants must have a valid score in KMAT or Karnataka PGCET. Once the aspirants have passed the entrance exam, they need to participate in KEA Counselling for seat allotment. Once selected, aspirants have to pay the course fee to confirm their seat.

Yes, RVITM Bangalore accepts COMEDK scores for admission to BE programme. However, candidates can also get selected for BE based on their score in KCET. COMEDK is a national-level entrance exam conducted once in a year in Computer-based mode. The exam is usually conducted in May every year.
In 2024, COMEDK cutoff for RVITM Bangalore BE was 14477 for CSE and 22853 for ECE. The ranks are not very competitive. Hence, aspirants can get admission with a decent rank in COMEDK.

To know which is a better choice, students must weigh both options based on important factors such as fees and the highest salary. As per official sources, the fees to pursue BE at NIE Mysore and R V Institute of Technology and Management is INR 2.83 Lacs and INR 11.26 lakh, respectively. In terms of fees, NIE Mysore is a better choice.
Moreover, as per placement data available on Shiksha, the median salaries offered to BE students at NIE Mysore and R V Institute of Technology and Management are INR 42 LPA and INR 40 LPA. In terms of package, BE from the NIE Mysore is a better choice.

RV Institute of Technology and Management (RVITM) has provided its cutoff range for this year for taking admission in their college in Bangalore lying in the ranks 7076 and 11568.
This an applicant needs to get in the KCET test if they want to take admission to the different courses that RVITM offers. These cutoff range may change annually depending on things like the amount of applications and the exam's level of difficulty. Applicants should see this while taking admission.

As per the R V Institute of Technology and Management KCET cutoff 2023, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering were 7076 and 8655, respectively, for the General All India category.

There is no requirement to give JEE (joint entrance examination) exams for admission to undergraduate programs at RVITM (RV Institute of technology and Management Bangalore). RVITM College admits students to undergraduate programs only through KCET and COMEDK entrance exams. Therefore, students who wish to take admission in the undergraduate programme at RVITM do not need to give JEE exams.

Yes, the RV Institute of Technology and Management (RVITM) in Bangalore has good placement results. Over 200 companies visited the institutions with 1500+ job offers. According to the official website of RVITM, around 80% of students got placed in different companies, and the highest package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 40 LPA, while the lowest package was INR 3.5 LPA.
