Rajasthan Technical University Eligibility

Admissions will be based on valid and eligible GATE scores. However, candidates without GATE score but possessing MArch
degree or equivalent can also apply. It is important to mention here that the scholarship offered in MArch for GATE qualified candidates shall be as per AICTE norms which is INR 12, 400 per month for 24 months.

Candidates should have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with a minimum percentage of marks in the Science stream (typically with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). The specific minimum marks and subjects may vary based on the university and the branch of engineering. In most cases, admissions to B.Tech programs are based on national or state-level entrance examinations. For example, candidates in Rajasthan often need to appear for the Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). if a candidate happened to be from different state, then they are requested to get native certificate.

The eligibility criteria for a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering degree at Rajasthan Technical University:

Passed Class 12 with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category candidates)

And in JEE Main you need more than 90 percentile for getting Computer Science branch.

Candidate must have passed a Minimum of three years / Two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45 percent marks (40 percent marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

or Candidates who have passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject or Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector are also eligible to apply.
