Yes, RIMS Ranchi is a regular college. The class take place in the college on regular basis with properly followed schedule and timings. Students are informed about the college timings and daily schedule before the beginning of their programmes. MBBS is the most poppular programme offered by the college. The duration of the MBBS course is 4 ½ years followed by compulsory rotating internship training of one year. The intake capacity of under graduate MBBS course 180 every year. The admission to MBBS is based on the score of competitive exams like NEET followed by the councelling process comducted by the Medical Counselling Commitee.

The college is an autonomous body established under an act of Jharkhand Assembly and is one of the premier medical colleges in the state and India.The institute was originally called Rajendra Medical College Hospital after Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. The institute is recognised by NMC and Ministry of Health & Family. Having valid associations and recognition, the degree given is also valid and authentic.

Once the application process is completed, the college checks each form. Students need to upload the correct documents and fill the correct details for their forms to be accepted. After this the college releases the cutoff list. Students falling in the list can proceed for further process of admissions.
