The student who completed 10th,11th, and 12th with 45% can get into the college.The university has 39 Post Graduate Teaching Departments (PGTD), 3 constituent colleges, and 601 affiliated colleges spread across 11 campuses within an overall jurisdiction that extends over 4 districts – Bhandara, Gondia, Nagpur, and Wardha. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and PG Diploma courses in various fields such as education, pharmacy, computer science, commerce, business administration, interior design, and computer application.

In my point of view absolutely Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University present in Nagpur offers better placements than Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya. From many years, it is giving good results in placements. In 2021, it had given 100 percent placements. After that due to recession the placements are not that much good in every college. Although, RTMU had given 50 percent placements in 2023.
