No, candidates are not allowed to change the details entered in RBI Assistant application form after final submission. If candidates want to make changes in the application form, they should do it within the prescribed registration deadline. RBI Assistant application form should be filled online only. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of the RBI Assistant application form. The application fee should be paid online. Candidates need to fill RBI Assistant application form online only. There is no facility to submit the application offline. The application process comprises several steps such as registration, uploading scanned photograph and signature, filling the detailed application form, uploading left thumb impression and handwritten declaration, previewing the application form and fee payment. In RBI Assistant there is no interview. However, candidates qualifying the Mains exam are required to appear for Language Proficiency Test (LPT). During LPT, candidates are assessed whether they can speak and write the language of the state they have applied for. The selection process of RBI Assistant comprises prelims and mains exams. The basic pay of RBI Assistant is INR 20700. Candidates are entitled to Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc. , as admissible from time to time. The payscale is INR 20700-1200 (3)-24300- 1440 (4) -30060-1920 (6)-41580-2080 (2)-45740-2370 (3)-52850- 2850-55700 (20 years). Candidates are entitled to Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments for Assistants is approximately INR 45,050.

RBI Assistant prelims exam is conducted in four shifts while the Mains exam is held in two shifts. The shift 1 of prelims exam is held from 09:00 am-10:00 am while shift 2 is held from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. The Shift 3 exam is held from 02:00 pm-03:00 pm while Shift 4 is held from 04:30 pm-05:30 pm. The shift 1 of Mains exam is held from 10:00 am to 12:15 pm while shift 2 is held from 2:30 pm-4:45 pm. The shift-wise exam timings for RBI Assistant prelims and mains exams are given below.
