RBI Assistant vacancy will be released along with the notification for different states and categories. In 2022, a total of 950 vacancies were announced for RBI Assistants. Out of the 950 vacancies, 440 were for the Open or General category candidates, 146 for Other Backward Class candidates, 123 (46) for Schedule Tribe candidates, and 151 (2) for Schedule Caste candidates.
