Admission to BTech at RGPV is completely entrance-based. Direct admission is not possible for BTech course at the university. Candidates seeking for admission to this course must pass Class 12 to appy for the course. Aspirants must qualify for JEE Main entrance exam in order to get admission. The JEE Main qualifiers are required to apply for DTE MP counselling, where the seats will be allotted to the selected candidates.

The course is offered across popular BTech specialisations such as Automobile Engineering, CSE, IT, Mechanical Engineering, etc. As per the General placement record of the year 2022, students at RGPV got placed on higher packages of INR 44 LPA.
