RGPV Bhopal BTech Courses & Fees 2026: Admission, Eligibility, Placements

Candidates seeking admission to the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya BTech course must visit the official website of the institute to apply online. RGPV BTech admission is based on candidates' performance in the JEE Main entrance test, followed by DTE MP Counselling. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh conducts MP BE Counselling for admission to the Engineering courses in the state. In order to get admission, candidates must also fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria before applying for the course. 

Candidates need not have 75 percent marks in class 12 for appearing in JEE Main. As per the official brochure released by the NTA, there is no minimum percentage required for appearing in the JEE Main. The requirement of 75 percent marks need not be associated with appearing in the JEE Main exam.

It is to be understood that 75 percent marks is required for admission to institutes which include NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs. THe report also shows that around 262 students received placements during 2023 however, it is unclear whether this number pertains to BTech students or overall college placements.

Yes, fees are generally collected semester-wise in two installments per year. This helps distribute the financial load, and students must also pay separate examination fees each semester.

While core branches often have similar fees, specialised courses such as AI or Data Science at private affiliated colleges may cost more, ranging upto INR 5.3 Lakhs in total.
