The International Diploma in Tourism at the Royal Institute of Hotel Management is a tad costly. The total course fee is about INR 1,49,500, which covers tuition, examination fees, and others. In addition, a one-time registration fee of INR 9,500 has to be paid. The course spans a year, and the fee can be paid in installment options. The amount is comparatively moderate in the light of standards set by the industry and the prestige of the institute, yet still a big spend for low-income students.
