The RPF SI 2025 exam date will be announced soon. The RRB RPF SI CBE (computer based exam) is divided into three sections-Basic Arithmetics (35 questions, 35 marks), General Intelligence and Reasoning (35 questions, 35 marks), and General Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks). Candidates are allotted 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 minutes) to complete the entire exam. For correct answers, candidates score one mark. There is a negative marking penalty of 1/3 mark for every incorrect response. The total marks allotted to the exam are 120. The RPF SI 2024 exam was held on December 2, 3, 9, 12 and 13, 2024.

RPF SI application form was released on April 15, 2024. The application form needs to be filled online only. The application fees are INR 500 for the Unreserved category, whereas, the other categories SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Female will have to pay INR 250. The application amount is refunded by the MoR when the candidate appears for the RPF CBT exam (INR 400 is refunded for UR and INR 250 is refunded for the other categories excluding the banking charges).

The short RPF SI notification 2024 was released on March 2, 2024. The detailed notification was released on April 14, 2024. The notification for SI was released to fill up a total of 452 vacancies. RPF SI notification was released in PDF form and comprises the details related to the exam such as important dates, selection process, vacancies, eligibility and many more. The selection of RPF SI comprises CBT, PET/PMT and document verification. The CBT will be conducted by RRB. The PET/PMT and document verification is conducted by the Railway Protection Force.

Yes, there is reservation for ex-servicemen in RPF SI. The reservation for ex-servicemen in RPF SI is 10% of the vacancies under the appropriate category (UR, SC, ST and OBC)
