Candidates who clear the RPSC RAS Mains exam are called for the personality test or viva-voce round. The RPSC RAS personality test carries a total of 100 marks. Candidates' personality, confidence, skills and suitability for the job profile is tested through this round of RAS selection process. The marks obtained by candidates in the personality test are counted for the final RPSC RAS merit list.

RPSC RAS Mains is a descriptive-type exam which is conducted offline. The RAS Mains exam comprises four papers. Each paper of the Mains carries 200 marks. Have a look at the details of RAS Mains exam:

The RPSC RAS selection process for the Rajasthan Administrative Service is a three-stage process comprising

• Prelims exam
• Mains exam
• Personality test/viva-voce

The RPSC RAS prelims exam is qualifying in nature. Candidates who clear the prelims are called for the RAS Mains exam. Those who clear the RPSC RAS Mains exam are called for the personality test/viva-voce. 

The salary for RAS (Rajasthan Administrative Service) in the RPSC falls under the INR 9,300 to INR 39,100 pay scale in the grade pay if INR 3,600 to 5,400. The in-hand salary of the candidates recruited in the RPSC RAS usually ranges from INR 33,500 to INR 66,000.

Candidates who hold a bachelor's degree or are graduate from any recognised university recognised by the Government in consultation with the RPSC are eligible to appear for the RPSC RAS examination. Moreover, the age of the candidates should be between 21 to 40 years. There is RPSC RAS upper age relaxation for reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS and others.

The RPSC RAS marks of the candidates who take the exam are released after the announcement of results. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) releases the marks of all the candidates who appear for the exam on its official website. To check the RAS marks and download the scorecard, candidates need to click the official link and login to their registered accountd using the roll number and date of birth.

• Search the desired roll number in the result PDF.
• Download the RAS result pdf.

The RPSC RAS Mains result 2025 will be released after the completion of the assesment process. The RPSC RAS result for Mains exam will be published on the official website- rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates will be able to check their results by visiting the official website and clicking on the link stating result preamble and cut off marks for the RPSC RAS Mains 2024 session exam.

The RPSC RAS Mains exam date 2025 was June 17 and 18, 2025. Candidates who cleared the RPSC RAS Prelims exam are called to appear for the Mains examination. The RPSC RAS exam for Mains is organised as per the pattern prescribed by the RPSC. Candidates need to appear for the exam at the RAS exam centres notified on their admit cards.
