Placement scenario of Techno India Salt Lake for MCA is average. I will not say that the placement of MCA is bad but I can't even say it very good.

Techno India Salt Lake is the best for the engineering courses. It is not much good as in management field. If you are trying for private college, then go for IEM (Institute of Engineering and Management). .

IEM takes admission through WBJEE and JEE Mains and not through any other joint entrance examination. Your rank should be between 700 to 800 (GMR) to get into IEM. IEM offers 12 seats for mechanical students through JELET. Usually, if seats get vacated at the end of the first year and there will be a chance of admission through JELET. In Techno India Salt Lake City for lateral entries eligibility criteria is that a candidate should have minimum 60% aggregate in Diploma in engineering.
Hope this helps.
