Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University

Founded in 1983 in Amravati, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati institution (SGBAU), formerly known as Amravati University, is a state-level institution. It is an Association of Indian Universities member and has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) (AIU). The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has granted it re-accreditation with a "A" grade. The university provides programs in science, commerce, technology and engineering, law, business administration, library science, and other fields at the undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, certificate, and Diploma levels. The Department of Applied Electronics, Department of Biotechnology, Department of Commerce, Department of English, Department of Law, Department of Computer Science, and more are among the more than 25 departments that make up the university. It has connections to over a hundred universities. 

Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University offers BTech and B.Li.Sc. in UG programs. In addition to MSc and MA programmes, the university provides postgraduate courses in MCom, MCA, LLM, B.Li.Sc., M.P.Ed., MBA, MTech, and MLISc. Those who wish to enrol in those courses must fulfil the prerequisite of earning a bachelor's degree. Interested candidates must first register and join in to SGBAU Amravati's online admissions portal. The candidates must then complete the admission form, pay the application fees, and send in the appropriate supporting materials, which include grade reports, a passport-sized photo, a signature, and certificates. Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University offers a BTech and a B.Li.Sc. at the undergraduate level as well as a PG programme in M.Tech, M.P.Ed., MBA, MA, MCom, MCA, LLM, and M.Li.Sc. Entrance tests at the national or state level are valid for admission to certain courses, or admission is granted on the basis of merit. The Common Admission Program (CAP) is the means by which the institution admits students to numerous courses. SGBAU provides a Full Time BE/BTech program. In three specialisations, it is offered. A valid JEE Main test score is a prerequisite for admission to this course for qualified applicants.
