Hello Swetank,
For a probable employer of a mechanical engineer, SAP-PP is of no use. For the engineer, his CV has enhanced but with not so important course. On the other hand, if you do any small course related to your field, it will definitely enhance your employment potential.

Depends on what you're looking for from your career in the long term. SAP is an ERP module and it's always good to have hands on working exposure to it as most MNCs are on some form of ERP but not really a deal breaker in a marketing related job interview. It matters if you're serious about a career in ITES and aspiring/appearing for a job in an IT company that is looking for an ERP related analyst or specialst.
If you enjoy marketing, sales, business development then it's straight forward - digital marketing.
