SASTRA calculates its own ranks for admission based on +2 marks and JEE (Main) scores. Applicants are advised to submit their JEE scores even if they are not qualified for the Advanced or they don't have the cut-off prescribed by MHRD

If you are on a merit rank of 6000 for both Stream 1 and Stream 2 of SASTRA then your chances would depend on the programme and branch one is applying for. In past testing SASTRA University has admitted students with ranks below 8000-10000 in Stream 1 & 5000-7000 in Stream 2. Till date, the university has provided nearly 2400 seats in various streams of B.Tech. The details of the fee structure of B.Tech programme in SASTRA University are as follows: It approximately costs from one Lacs sixty thousand to two Lacs for each B.Tech programme per year.
