The primary eligibility requirement to get admission into BTech courses is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 45%. Additionally, for the selection process, the college accepts TNEA counselling. This is the online counselling process conducted by Anna University for admission to BE/ BTech programmes in Tamil Nadu engineering colleges. It is based on Class 12 marks, and no entrance exam is conducted.

Admission to BTech at Sasurie College of Engineering is based on TNEA scores. The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu and Anna University conduct this counselling process. To get admission through TNEA, admission will be based on marks obtained by the candidates in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths, Physics and Chemistry, which will be reduced to 200 (Maths – 100, Physics – 50 and Chemistry – 50).
