When choosing a SAT exam centre while registering, applicants should have the following pointers covered:
- The SAT exam centre must be 1 or 2 kms in distance.
- Exam centre must be within the same city and if possible in the same vicinity.
- Check beforehand how will you reach your SAT exam centre and in how much time plus which mode of transportation would suit you the best.
- Ensure that the exam centre you are choosing is conducting the exam and will not cancel at the last minute.
- Register early so that the seats don't run out at your preferred test centre.

No, applicants will not be allowed to enter the SAT exam centre if the details of the SAT date and registrations do not match. Students will have to appear for their SAT exam on their selected SAT date only and not before or after the chosen date. Once the SAT date of exam is missed, applicants will have to apply again and then appear for the exam. Please note, that such tactics will not prove beneficial for the applicants.
