The latest cutoff of B.Sc. in Computer Science offered by Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences would come out during TNEA 2024 counselling and the expected cut off of the general category may fall between 135 to 185. While the SC and ST categories are concerned, it would be around 95-165 and 95-155 respectively. These are estimates according to previous years' trends, although they may differ by one or two based on applicants' numbers and their results from qualifying examinations.

The criteria for apply for the M.Sc. in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition in Saveetha University is that the candidates should have passed the Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject with not less than 55% of mark.

Since, your BE in Mechanical Engineering does not fall under the categories of medical, non medical, home science, physical education and /or sports science the status may be unclear.

If you wish to check whether your qualifications will allow you to enter Saveetha University or not, it will be best to consult with the University directly, with the admission office.

According to the previous year's data available on the official website of the university, it shows that the State Government/ UT/ Directorate of Technical Education shall ensure that 10% of reservations for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) as per the reservation policy. Additionally, the university also reserved the setas for minorities i.e., SC/ ST/ OBC category. However, this would not be applicable in the case of minority institutions referred to the Clause (1) of Article 30 of the Constitution of India.

Yes, candidates can join the MBA course at Saveetha University without appearing in CAT, because SIMAT also accepts the scores of other national and state-level entrance examinations.e, XAT and TANCET. Hence, with valid scores in any of these entrance examinations mentioned above, candidates can join the MBA course at Saveetha University. Candidates should remember that the selection process will be based on the interview round conducted by the university after getting shortlisted in the merit list.
