Yes, it's possible to pursue a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) course at Saveetha University Chennai after completing Class 12 in a non-medical stream. While some universities or colleges may prefer candidates who have studied Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), including Mathematics in their Class 12 curriculum, but Saveetha University accepts candidates from both PCM and PCB stream.

Unfortunately, one cannot become a doctor after graduating from B Pharmacy form Saveetha University. Because Pharmacy is not synonymous with being a Doctor. One must first complete an MBBS, BDS, or Ayush Doctor programme before one becomes a doctor. BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and additional minimum education certification requirements exist.

In order to motivate students to perform better and sustainably, Saveetha University provides merit scholarships to toppers in the BPharm course. The eligibility criteria to get this scholarship is candidates must secure the 1 to 5 position in the university exams. Students who got 1st position get 40% off on the total tuition fee, and 5th position get 10% off on the tuition fee.

Saveetha University Chennai reserves seats for the students, who belong to SC/ ST/ BC candidates. Additionally, the university also provides reservations for students from weaker sections of society. The percentage of seats reserved for BPharm students is not explicitly mentioned on the official website of the university. However, candidates can take the reference of reserved seats as per the government of India and the state government of Tamilnadu.

In recent times, a government job is more preferable than a private job. After completing a four-year BPharm degree course from Saveetha University candidates have various options that they can pursue, such as Govt. hospital Pharmacist, Drug Inspector, Drug squad in police, Drug squad in police, Regulatory Affairs Officer, etc. To get these job roles candidates are required to qualify for government exams, such as UPSC, SPSC, SSC, etc.

Saveetha University BPharm fee is cumulative of different components, such as caution money, hostel fee, tuition fee, and more. Some of the fee components are refundable, while some are non-refundable. The total tuition fee for the BPharm course is INR 6 lakh, which candidates are required to pay within the duration of the course i.e., four years. Yes, Saveetha University does offer BPharm courses for four years and is offered in full-time mode. SU Chennai offers Pharmacy courses with the affiliation of the Pharmacy Council of India. The basic eligibility criteria required by the university to grant admission to this course is candidates must qualify their Class 12 from Science stream with at least an aggregate of 50%.

No, students cannot be admitted to Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences without undergoing entrance exams. The students have to take entrance exams for the respective fields and have to pass those appearing for admission. If a student wishes to take admission in engineering, she/he must take entrance exams like JEE Mains. In the case of those students who wish to take admission for medicine, they must take entrance examinations like NEET. There are some courses other than medical or technical that require separate courses that do not require an entrance exam, such as B.Sc, BA, etc. Hence there would be no entrance exams
