The State Bank of India (SBI) declared 5,486 openings for the SBI Clerk test in 2022. Of these, 4,78 were backlog positions and 5,008 were regular positions. These openings were split up among the states and several categories. 

Here's a breakdown of the vacancies for different categories :

  • General Category: 2,143

  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 490

  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 743

  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 467

  • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 1,165

Both prelims and Mains paper of SBI Clerk Examination are conducted through online mode only. There are 4 shifts for SBI Clerk Prelims examination followed by 2 shifts for SBI Clerk Mains examination: 

Prelims Exam-

•Shift 1- 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM

•Shift 2- 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM

•Shift 3: 12:30 PM to 12:30 PM

•Shift 4: 04:30 PM to 04:30 PM

Mains Exam

•Shift 1: 9 AM to 11.40 AM

•Shift 2: 2.30 PM to 5.10 PM

The cut-off score of SBI Clerk examination is expected to be released during the result of the examination. Follow these steps to download the cut-off score: 

• Login to the official website of SBI . Enter all the required details along with the CAPTCHA code.

• click on the cutoff link and download it . 

The cut-off for both Mains and prelims will be available on the website.

About 178 cities nationwide host the State Bank of India's (SBI) preliminary and main recruitment exams. Along with the official announcement from the authorities, the list of exam centres will be made public. For each of the two tests, candidates are required to select one exam venue. The applicants will be assigned to the SBI Clerk test centres based on their preferences. Exam locations cannot be altered once they are assigned to applicants. Applicants must complete their preferred centres when filling out the SBI Clerk application. The details regarding the exam centre will be mentioned in the admit card issued for the exam.

Candidate should belong to the age group of 20-28 years. According to the age limit, SBI Clerk eligible candidates must have born between 2nd August, 1994 and 1st August, 2002 (Both dates inclusive). For Candidates who belong to the reserved category, there is no upper age limit criteria for SBI Clerk as per the guidelines laid down by the government.

Relaxation in Upper age limit (in years) is given for various categories below:

Veterans and disabled veterans

On November 16, 2023, the SBI Clerk 2023 announcement was made public. The online application is made available. The deadline for completing the SBI Clerk 2023 application has been extended by State Bank of India (SBI). The deadline for completing the application has been moved up to December 10, 2023. Earlier, December 7, 2023, was the deadline for completing the application. The tentative dates will assist candidates
