SBI PO prelims cut off is not taken into consideration for final selection. The cut offs of the mains exam and interview are taken into consideration for final selection. SBI PO cut off for the prelims exam is only considered to select candidates for the mains exam. 

SBI PO prelims cut off 2025 was released on April 5, 2025. The cut off is made available category-wise and state-wise. Candidates can check the cut off by logging with the required credentials. Separate cut off marks are decided for the prelims exam, mains exam and final selection. Candidates need to secure the cut off marks in each stage inorder to qualify the exam.

Documents to be sent along with Account Opening Form 1) Two Self-Attested passport size photographs. 2) Attested copies of ID Proofs, Address proof and additional proof as mentioned on page number 2. 3) Initial Remittance (Cheque or Draft) should be drawn in favour of "State Bank of India A/c "

Candidates are required to keep the following details ready before filling the application form for SBI PO:

Bank details.

Valid email ID and mobile number.

Scanned photograph in the prescribed format.

Scanned signature in the specified dimension.

Marksheet of graduation.

SBI PO declaration should be written by candidates. By writing this, candidates agree that the details provided in the same are correct. It should be uploaded online along with the online form.

The SBI PO psychometric test takes 90 minutes to complete. The psychometric examination for the SBI PO will be given online. Psychometric tests are designed to assess an individual’s personality traits, cognitive abilities, and other psychological characteristics. These tests can include various types of assessments, such as personality questionnaires, situational judgment tests, and cognitive ability tests. The interview panel will be provided with the results of the psychometric test so they can fully understand the candidate. So be careful not to undervalue the significance of this test.

A psychometric test is conducted to assess the power of decision-making, and personality. The marks obtained in this test are not counted for final merit list.

The exam pattern is divided into prelims exam, mains exam, psychometric test, interview and group exercises. 

The prelims and mains exams of SBI PO are conducted online. The prelims exam of SBI PO carries a total of 100 marks. The mains exam of SBI PO carries 250 marks. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the mains exam. However, the marks of the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the mains exam.

After joining to the post of SBI PO, candidates are on probation for two years. Candidates are required to undergo training regarding the various bank processes. They are subjected to various assessments as per bank's extant policy. After completing the probation, candidates are confirmed in the service of the bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).
