Yes, DY University is good college to pursue biotechnology. It is Re-accredited by NAAC with A Grade. It is also AICTE Approved and AICTE. Thanks.

A graduate having completed three year science degree programme in Biotechnology /Bioinformatics/ Life sciences / Zoology / Botany / Chemistry / Microbiology / Applied Biology / Biochemistry / Genetics / MBBS / BDS / M.V.Sc. with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible.

There is no information about the entrance test on its official website or elsewhere. It would be better if you connect personally with the university for the information.

Hi there,
Yes if you crack the entrance you will get your desired college but you will not get direct admission in 2nd year as lateral entry to 2nd year directly is only allowed for diploma students not regular B.tech students. Hope you got your answer.

Hi,
You can't take admission in D.Y.Patil College of Engineering directly in 2nd year, as you are not into Diploma. Only Diploma students are allowed for going directly into 2nd year through lateral entry.
