 The selection criteria of MSc programme at School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, D Y Patil (Deemed-to-be) is as follows:

  • Admission to MSc (all specialisations) is based on scores obtained in the last qualifying examination
  • Candidates must have graduation in the relevant discipline or as stated by the School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics
  • Final admission to Integrated MSc (Biotechnology) is based on merit in the last qualifying examination.

The eligibility criteria to apply for BTech at School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, D Y Patil (Deemed-to-be) University includes Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board, securing minimum 50% aggregate in all the subjects with Physics, Chemistry and English as compulsory subjects. Candidate should have cleared either Mathematics/ Biology in Class 12 examinations.
