DY Patil (Deemed-to-be) University, eligibility criteria for BTech at the School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics include:

  • Passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board, securing a minimum 50% aggregate in all the subjects with Physics, Chemistry and English as compulsory subjects.
  • The candidate should have cleared either Mathematics/ Biology in the Class 12 exam.

Yes, most of the times it happens that they visit universities for research related purpose only. But, some companies also visit for hiring students for internship program in their companies where they also pay some amount of money while you work for them.
