• CLAT Merit / L-SAT India Merit - for BA LL.B. (Hons.), B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.), BBA LL.B. (Hons.) - Candidates with minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (Class 10 and Class 12  and CLATAIR ranking up to 15000/ L-SAT India Percentile of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from appearing in ULSAT.
• Board Merit: for BA LLB (Hons.), BCom. LLB (Hons.), BBA LL.B (Hons.) - Candidates with 75% marks in Class 10 and Class 12 main five subjects (English as one of the compulsory Subject) are exempted from ULSAT.
• Up to 20% of seats shall be filled through the Board Merit/CLAT AIR/L-SAT India Category.

For UPES School of Law admission, a candidate must have a valid score in either of the accepted exams for the applied course. Candidates without a valid score in the national-level exams can take the entrance examination conducted by UPES for management course admissions. UPES School of Law's admission process is a multi-step procedure. Candidates can read on for more details about each of the admission stages:

STEP 1: UPES Application Process 2024

The School of Law accepts applications online mode. Hence, the eligible candidates can visit its official website to apply. During the form filling, candidates should keep scanned copies of the important documents handy. The application can further be submitted successfully after the fee payment. To apply for the ULSAT exam, candidates can visit the university website only.

STEP 2: Shortlisting of Students

The school further shortlists applications based on the candidate's scores in the accepted examinations. Such students should be informed over mail or through any either medium about the selection.

STEP 3: Portfolio Presentation & Interview

Shortlisted candidates are further required to appear for the portfolio presentation and the interview round. A candidate must participate in these selection rounds for admission. The schedule for the same shall be available on the UPES official website.

STEP 4: Admission Confirmation

In the last step, based on the candidate's academic record, exam score, and performance in the presentation & interview, the final selection is done. Selected candidates may have to pay some fee amount to confirm their admission.
