The eligibility criteria for admission to the LLB programme at School of Legal Studies, CMR University are:
- Candidate should have completed their undergraduate degree from a recognised university.
- Candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) in their undergraduate degree.
- Candidate should have passed the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) or any other equivalent entrance examination.
- Candidate should not be more than 30 years old (35 years for SC/ST candidates).

LLB school of legal city is a 3 year graduation course and to take admission in this and the candidate should not secure less than 45% of marks from PUC/HSC/12th standard equivalent from any recognise board for general merit 42% for OBC and 40% for SC and ST.
